Micromax India 5 VoLTE smartphone launch with 5000 mAh battery, direct competition from Redmi 5A

New Delhi (Tech Desk) Indian smartphone brand Micromax has launched a new smartphone Micromax India 5 in the India Series to compete with Xiaomi  India. The company has sold this phone at a price of Rs 5,555. This smartphone will be available in the Black Color variant. Paying attention to the value of India 5, this phone appears to be competing against the recently launched Redmi Xiaomi 5A. Redmi 5A has been launched at a price of Rs 4999. Micromax India 5 has a 5.2-inch HD display. Smartphone works on quad-core mediatech chipsets. It has 16GB internal memory with 1GB of RAM. There is also an MicroSD slot to increase the storage. Talking about the camera, 5MP front camera with 5MP rear camera in India 5 has been given. The device has Android 7.0 noTAG. In the coming time, this phone will not receive Orio updates. This phone has been given 500 hours of standby time in Micromax. 5000 mAh battery is provided for power backup of the phone. Apart from this, Micromax had partnership with Vodafone at the beginning of last month. Under this partnership, Vodafone India will give 10GB additional data to 5 smartphone buyers every month for 5 months.

The starting price of this phone has been kept at Rs 4,999. Its 2GB RAM / 16 GB storage base variant has been priced at Rs 4,999. The Redmi 5A 3GB RAM / 32 GB storage version is priced at Rs. 6,999 in India.

This phone of Xiaomi  has been given the country's smartphone name because this phone will be assembled in India only. The Indian version of this phone will come with two nano SIM card slot and a MicroSD card slot. With this, the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage version of the Radmi 5A will be available in India only. The specialty of this phone is that it has been specially designed keeping Indians in mind. This is an entry-level phone. Despite entry level phones, the company has provided better specification in the phone. This collision will be from the recently launched Nokia 2.

Redmi 5A has a 5 inch HD IPS display. It features an Adreno 308 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. Its storage can be increased to 128GB with the help of MicroSD card. The Dual SIM phone works on MIUI9 based Android Knot. The phone supports 4G networks.

Talking about the camera, the phone is equipped with 13MP rear and 5MP front room. Powering the phone will have 3000 mAh battery The company claims that the battery life of 8 days is on standby mode on single charge.
